An editing partner for the structure, rhythm and detail that make a story connect.
Find the film in the footage
I work with filmmakers, producers and creative teams to shape footage into a finished film, episode or video. The work can begin with the first assembly or with a cut that needs another editorial perspective.
My experience covers feature films, television, documentaries, commercials, music videos and digital content. Over two decades in film and television, I have worked across both same-day broadcast delivery and feature-length storytelling.
I edited Citizen Saint (2023), directed by Tinatin Kajrishvili, under my professional name David Apkhaidze. The film was Georgia’s official submission for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards and a competition selection at Karlovy Vary.
